Please excuse our appearance while we migrate from our old website to our new site.  You may recognize some of our pages on our new site look just like the old www.parisjewelers.com site.  In spirit of the rapidly approaching holiday season we have decided to launch our new Medz & Paris Gifts site but still give our valuable customers access to our old site, for the pages that are not yet complete and ready to launch.  As always, Medz & Paris Gifts goes above and beyond to make your shopping experience as convenient as possible.  We hope that shopping at Medz & Paris Gifts continues to be your one stop shop for all of your holiday gifts. Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts is a family run business, and we appreciate all of your business. 

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts first started as a fine jewelry store in Ridgewood NJ in 1980.  Shortly after a second retail store carrying fine gifts & china was established.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts strives to offer the same excellent customer service online, as we are known for in our local store.   We carry over 60 name brands and we are rated top retailer in the U.S. Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts prides itself on 30 years of honest business with solid relationships with thousands of customers not only in the local town of Ridgewood but all over the USA.  We strive to make your shopping experience as professional and seamless as possible.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will provide the best possible prices we can to our customers.  We understand that in a hurting economy anything helps. Returns

 

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts only sells first quality, new, brand name merchandise directly from the manufacturer.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts under no circumstances sells used or second-hand products.  Approved merchandise for return will be issued for a store credit or a credit to you credit card.  Exceptions to this policy: Items purchased on a gift registry, bridal registry, or items returned by a gift recipient can be exchanged or returned for a store credit only.  Items that are purchased with a store credit are final sale. Final Sales (which cannot be returned)  apply to all holiday items, special order items, items that are engraved or personalized, special orders, import items, sale and discontinued items, clearance items, etc…. 

Deposits collected for special orders are non refundable and will not apply as a store credit.  Any returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee depending on make and model & manufacturer.   Damaged or defective items are not subject to a restocking fee and will be replaced only. Returned merchandise must be reported within 15 days of receipt of merchandise.  Please call or email us at sales@medzgifts.com to obtain your “Returned Authorization Number.”   Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will reply back with a form that will need to be filled prior to the release of a “Returned Authorization Number.”  Only merchandise accepted for return or exchange will be provided a “Return Authorization Number.” This number must be written clearly on the outer shipping box or the returned package will be refused.  Under no circumstances will used, damaged, or vandalized merchandise be accepted as a return or exchange at Medz & Paris Jewelers & Gifts.  If in any event returned merchandise is received in any condition other than the exact same condition the merchandise was shipped to you, your return will be denied.  This also applies to the gift box that the merchandise comes with.  For example if you have purchased a Michael Aram bowl that comes in a Michael Aram Box, this box must also be in the same condition as it was when the merchandise was shipped to you and must be included in your return.

Following the receipt and inspection of returned merchandise to our warehouse, a credit will be applied to your credit card or a store credit will be issued.   You will receive your store credit as a coupon code that you can apply to your next order.  This coupon code will be emailed to you and we will keep a record of this coupon code for 1 year.   If you misplace your coupon code after one year, Medz & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will not have a record of the code.  Under no circumstances will the original cost of shipping be refunded or used as a store credit.  Any shipping charges absorbed by Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts are non refundable.  Any promotional or free items must be returned with the purchase .  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will not pay for the shipping or insurance of any items that are approved for return or exchange.  

 

Defective Goods or Items Damaged During Transit  

 

All damaged merchandise or defective merchandise must be reported to us within 10 business days of receipt of merchandise by sending an email to sales@medzgifts.com.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will report and submit the damaged claim to the appropriate shipping carrier.  Please be sure to keep all packaged materials including all damaged or broken goods and inner and outer package materials and all pieces of the merchandise(s) itself.  The outer shipping corrugated box must also be kept.   Nothing can be discarded until further notice from Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts. These items must be available for any inspection made by the shipping carriers.  If these items are discarded prior to the approval, the damaged or broken claim can be denied.  If a claim is denied due to the discarding of any package goods, broken merchandise, etc., Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts reserves the right to deny your claim and your merchandise will not be replaced.   All shipping carriers have strict timelines for submission and rules and regulations.  Following our instructions will help ensure the approval and quick and easy replacement of your damaged goods.  

 

Gift Wrapping

 

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts does offer gift-wrapping for a fee of $3.00 per box.  We will combine boxes and try our best to keep your gift-wrapping fee to a minimum.   Please be aware that gift wrapping many times can add up to an additional 7-14 business days for the shipment of your order.  During the check out process you will see two options for gift-wrapping.  

1.) GIFT WRAP - typically ships from Medz & Paris Gifts in 7-14 business days ($3.00 per box).
2.) GIFT WRAP IN STOCK ONLY, otherwise fast ship directly from manufacturer ($3.00 per box).

If you choose option 2 we will only gift-wrap your merchandise if it is in our stocked warehouse only.  If the merchandise is being sent to you directly from the manufacturer the gift-wrapping will be waved due to the fact that this will add at least 7-14 business days  shipment of your order.

If you choose item number 1, your gift will be wrapped regardless if the item is in our stocked warehouse, or not. This can add at least 7 to 14 business days for the shipment of your order.  

 

Sentiment Card

 

A free and complimentary gift card is offered on any order.  If the merchandise is in stock in our warehouse we will include your gift card in your order. Orders shipped directly from the manufacturer cannot be gift wrapped, and not all vendors provide a manufacturer's gift box. If you provide us with a gift message and the gift is shipped directly from the manufacturer, we will mail your gift recipient a gift card with your message and a notation that a gift is being sent directly from the manufacturer on your behalf.  

 

Shipping

 

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts uses FexEx and UPS for our preferred shipping carriers.  All packages are insured, packaged with care by our expert and trained packaging department.   We do offer upgraded shipping for packages needed rushed.  Please note that we only use UPS for upgraded shipping.  Please read below for upgraded shipping policies.  All items that are in our warehouse usually ship within 24-48 hours however, orders shipped by ground should be given 10 full business days for shipping. Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts will contact you by email if any of the items in your order are out of stock.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts reserves the right to update any shipping fees.   The shipping fee that is calculated during the check out process is an estimate for one shipping box.  If multiple shipping boxes must be shipped overnight, the shipping charge will be increased.  Please be aware that you will be notified prior to any increased shipping fees and you will have a the right to change or cancel your order.   

 

Upgraded Shipping

 

If your package must be upgraded to overnight, second or third day air,  your order will be processed the next business day.  For example, if your order is submitted Friday, and you choose to have your order overnited, your order will be processed and shipped out on Monday.  If your order is submitted on Monday and you choose 2nd day air your package will be processed Tuesday, and you will receive your order on Thursday. There are exceptions to this policy and for any same day shipments you must call us at 877.447.2747, 201.652.2856 and speak to a customer service representative.  Please be sure to pay special attention to your email submitted in your order or your telephone number submitted in your order in the event that we will have to contact you.  This especially applies to back-ordered items where we will need to inform you as soon as possible and we will always offer you alternatives.  Please do not select gift wrapping on upgraded shipping orders.  This will hold up your order.  

 

Stock On Orders

 

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts stocks tens of thousands of items in our warehouse however, we do carry over 60 name brands.  If your item is not in our stocking warehouse we immediately contact the manufacturer and check the stock in their warehouse.  If the item is in stock in the manufacturers warehouse, we will authorize that manufacturer to ship the merchandise to you directly.  This method is referred to as drop shipping and it does save time.  We can also authorize manufacturers to overnight, second or third day air merchandise.  Please review the “Gift Wrapping” and “Sentiment Card” section of our policies for further information regarding stocking of merchandise and time frames of delivery.  

In the event that an item is “out of stock,” we will notify you via email within 24 or 48 business hours of your order.   Many times we will notify you the same day.  This email will ask you if you would like to keep or cancel your order.  If the order is now considered a “special order” we will ask for your permission to take a 50% deposit.  This email will also ask if you would like a gift card sent to the gift recipient notifying them that an order has been placed, what was ordered and an estimated delivery date.   Many times if Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts and the manufacturer are out of stock almost all online retailers will also be out of stock.   Sending a gift card will make the gift recipient aware of a “coming soon” gift.  This is especially important and useful for bridal gifts or gift registries.  Please be aware that Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts never charges your credit card prior to shipping your order.  We feel that this is the most honest and best policy for our most valued customers.  This policy gives our customers the confidence that we will ship their order as fast as possible.

Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts is a secure site and we never share or sell your information.  Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts only shares shipping information with vendors in the event of drop shipped orders.   Your email address, credit card information, telephone numbers or any other personal information will never be released or sold. To ensure the protection of your confidential information, our site and databases employs the latest version of online security available.  This technology encrypts your credit card information so that only Medz Gifts and Paris Jewelers & Gifts can view it.  Due to the use of the most sophisticated commercial security software available it is improbable if not impossible that any personal information that you submit to us will be accessible by any third party.  For the future of Medz Gifts & Paris Jewelers & Gifts we take our security measures very seriously and will continue only to use the most up to date technology available.
